Purely handicap based, the ratings are compiled by a private handicapper of 25 years experience using three bases for compilation.
3. Performance in relation to race rivals
For horses with little or no form in the book (debutantes, maidens, NH Flat races, etc) there are a number of methods which include:
A trainers past performance with such horses
A trainers past performance in the type of race being handicapped
A trainers past ability to improve horses in their first few runs
An ear constantly listening and an eye constantly looking
WHAT YOU GET
A rating for every horse in every race rated
An inbuilt factoring of all aspects of form (time, going, time of year, etc)
WHAT YOU WON'T GET
Multiple columns of past performances. This is because of; 1) the inbuilt factors noted above; and 2) each race is rated with only that race in mind. Past rating figures bear no relevance to the race being rated because of the way a handicap is compiled using 1: 2: and 3 above.
If we did provide column upon column of past performances of say, time and form and distances, we would probably be able to claim almost every winner because on time it was……... or because when it last ran at this distance on this ground………..etc.
We think that would be deception in the extreme. All those factors are inbuilt into every horses rating. Multiple columns would either confuse subscribers or, at worst, lead them down the losing alley mumbling to themselves, "I could have backed that."
We are currently creating a PDF document that will suggest ways to best use the ratings in every type of race on the racing calendar (Flat and NH). Until that is complete (late June / early July), please visit these two pages to get a feel for the ratings.
About the Ratings General Hints
TFORM BETS OUTLINE
These are up to 3 bets gleaned from the ratings: MOST IN HAND ONE A DAY TOWERFORM BET.
There will be a subscription charge for non-ratings subscribers, but they are free to subscribers of the ratings.
The bets will be 1 to 3 horses per day. MOST IN HAND and ONE A DAY bets are highlighted for quick reference on the ratings listings, daily, and sent by email to non-ratings subscribers pre-noon on the day of the races, along with the TOWERFORM BET.
Upto date results can be found here: BET RESULTS
What to expect:
LOSERS.
This may come as a shock, but winning is not for the faint hearted - and we want to make sure subscribers have realistic expectations. We must point out that there will be losing runs - they are inevitable. However, the winners should outweigh the losers profit-wise.
However, we cannot guarantee a profit from the service - though we can suggest that the service should provide profits.
All recommended bets are advised as single one point win level stakes (each-way advice is at half a point each-way) to SP. That one point can be any amount you wish: £1, £5, £10, or £100.
Your staking level is entirely up to you. But be realistic. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
Naturally, the levels of profit will vary and we cannot guarantee a positive profit for every single month.
